Here's Charli ready to take off...
We had to walk down the beach the first day to check out this big sand castle.
Charli ended up napping out by the pool under the umbrella on most days. I think she could sleep through a hurricane.
Can you guess what she's saying?? "Cheese!!!" 
This year she absolutely LOVED playing in the waves.
Sue had Charli help bury her to the waist in sand. I got my turn later.
While we were cooking dinner one afternoon, Charli watched her first movie, "Jungle Book" She thought it was sooo cool.
And at John's Pass one evening we stopped and watched the dolphins play for a long time in the bay. I love to watch them and could do so for hours on end.
Sue bought a new hat while were there and of course Charli had to try it on.
Building sand castles, another daily venture.
And here's my turn at being buried.

Another thing I could watch for hours are the pelicans.
Sue and I had one day of shopping by oursleves down in Pass-a-grille. It was a lot of fun.

We named this one Jonathon as he really liked Charli and hung out on our railing quite a bit.

And then it was off to the cold, dreary rain of the mid-west. If I could of we would have stayed. It was so nice to have a vacation. We had good weather, good food, good friends and good times.
