Finally over the "hum bug"

A few people have commented that I hadn't posted any Christmas photos yet. Well, to be honest this whole holiday season I had a case of the "hum bugs". I really just was not much in the holiday festive mood. I am very thankful that I had Charli as that kind of forced me to celebrate the season.
And then since the holidays ended one or both of us has been battling some form of illness. Charli had the double ear infection going on and I've had nearly every virus under the sun. I had pink eye in both eyes, a horrible cough, congestion and most recently no voice. It's been a load of fun. But I am determined to get some pictures posted today. Here goes nothing.

Eric and Karen gave us all a wonderful Christmas present. We all went out on December 23 for a limo light tour. It was a ton of fun and something we now plan to make an annual event. I've got a couple of pictures from inside the limo. I wasn't able to get a group shot as it was snowing so hard when we were done and Eric was getting really cold.

Charli absolutely loved the limo and all the lights.

Looking forward, Karen, Emma, Jake (Amanda kind of hidden) and her boyfriend Mark.
And then looking at the backseat is Eric and mom.

Christmas Eve, my mom and I decided to "pose" a picture with the old time pedal car and Charli in front of their tree. I think they are pretty cute. She thought the car should stay inside and that she should be able to drive it throughout the house.

Charli and I stayed overnight at mom and dad's house and had Christmas morning there. We do the presents downstairs. Charli liked getting presents but to our dismay she wanted to play with each one so we kept having to tell her there were others to open. I'm sure that will change as she gets older.

Papa got stuck undoing all the dang wires and twisties on the toys. Fortunately, he didn't really mind and he's pretty darn good at it too.

Charli got her very own suitcase and carry on bag. As you can see, she thinks she's pretty cool.

And last but not least, I thought I should take a picture of our tree at home even though we didn't have Christmas there, our house was still decorated and festive.

Hopefully I will shake this round of viruses soon. I am hoping that once that is the case, I'll do a better job of keeping this updated. No guarantees.....
