March, already???

I can't believe it's already March. Where does the time go? Guess that means that once again I'm overdue on my posting.

In January we went down to Iowa City for the agency holiday party and while in Kalona, a small town with a pretty large Amish population, I saw this site and had to take a picture. Hope you think it's as funny as I do.
In February, Hudson has their annual Hot Air Affair and one of the nights is called the "Moon Glow" or "Field of Fire" depending on the winds. Well this year only two balloons lit up but the baskest are there and fire up so it's warm and it's super cool to see. Charli, with a little encouragement from her teacher Ms. Cory even climbed in a basket and I got a quick photo. It's a super neat event.

And the biggest event thus far at least in Charli's world is her first ever concert!!! I took her on Thursday, March 1, 2012 to see the Fresh Beat Band from Nickelodeon. They are her favorite group/show and she loved it. I sprang for the extra package to get the front seats (got front row) and the backstage party passes. She was so excited. She's still talking about it 20 days later.....

I'm so glad I did this. Charli loved it and it's so much fun to hear her talking about it. Now it's on to Easter and if she's lucky (also due the fact she has an August birthday) I think the Easter bunny may just bring her a big girl bike. I'll let you know......
