Eggs and Easter

As is currently the norm, its coffee at Espressly Yours in Woodbury to start our Saturday. Now that the landlord is not renewing their lease, I'm not sure where we will go or what we'll do. But this is Charli and Sue at our favorite spot.

Then it was off to Jama and Papa's house to color eggs. Charli thought this was super cool. She really loved doing the tye die eggs that are a long standing family tradition in our house.

And last but not least, I made a bunny cake. Unfortunately the best shot of the cake is the one with Charli's eyes closed. Oh, well.

All of these shots were taken with my new camera. I love the clarity. It has a lot of settings to allow for Charli's quick moves etc. I am working on getting used to it. But as I do, I'll do my best to keep current photos of Charli posted.

Spring...

...has sprung. I snapped this one on my parent's driveway on a nice spring afternoon.

And so too have the floods. Here's what it looked like a week or so ago on 1st Street in Hudson. (That's Lakefront Park just on the other side of the road from where I am taking the pix)

I hope to post the Easter photos soon but I finally got a new camera and have yet to get it all figured out. So far the pix I took look good on the screen, the test will be the download and other accessibilities. I'll keep you posted....
