the end of 2011

Hard to believe another year is ending. Where does the time go?? I know I never seem to have enough of it :-) Oh, well. But after looking at my blog I see time really has gotten away from me. I haven't updated anything since August. Not so good.

So here's a photo re-cap of the last four months.

She made reindeer food at school that she sprinkled on the lawn before bed on Christmas Eve.

Christmas 2011

she loved opening presents but the funniest was that she had to present each one to us as though it was "show and tell" at school. What a kid.

Well, I do believe I've caught you up to date. Wishing you all a save and festive New Year's and good things for 2012.

Four Year Old photos

Over Labor Day Weekend, the weather was decent and I decided it was time to head out and get Charli's four year old photos. I took her to some abandoned train tracks (the Minnesota Zephyr was a dining/theatre train that ran from Stillwater, MN on these tracks but it closed a couple of years ago). The setting was fabulous. Charli was in a good mood and we both had fun. Here are a sampling of the photos I took. Yes, I'm cheap and I took the pictures myself. But to be honest, I think I got some great shots and in some Charli's personality really shows through.

I can't believe she's been home for three years now and she's already 4!!! Wow how the time flies. This time next year she'll be off to kindergarten. And in her world that means, "You're big"!!! in mine it means my baby is growing up. So for now I'll enjoy my four year old, attitude and all. :-)

We're Home!!!
